To read the offline manual, open a project in Touch Creator and select the Touch Creator Help... entry from the Help menu. As an alternative, you can press ⌘ + ? on your keyboard.
The following major features were introduced, changed or discontinued with this version of Touch Creator.
|Mac OS X 10.11 ("El Capitan") is now supported.|
|4K displays||~sedna touch now supports displays with 4K resolution. The New Project dialog has been modified to account for this. Also, the Scene Manager was modified to allow for easy modification of the display setup.|
|Undo / redo||Now you can sequentially undo and redo changes made to components and displays during a work session.|
The following major features were introduced, changed or discontinued with this version of Touch Player.
|During installation, a single Touch Player app will be installed. Tracker apps and the License Reader have become obsolete. Also, Touch Player Preferences are now integrated in the Touch Player app.|
|Tracker selection||The Tracker selection previously prompted during installation has been removed. As of now, all available trackers will be installed with Touch Player allowing you to later change trackers.|
|Project list||The list has been removed. It is not required anymore to select the project to be played back. Touch Player will always play back the last project synced from a Touch Creator instance.|
|Multi-display support||Generally, only one active multi-touch display is supported per Touch Player Pro. Mac Pros produced not before late 2013 can control multiple displays, but only one of them can be an active multi-touch display. The support of multiple displays on Mac Minis has been discontinued. The tracking network feature has been discontinued.|
This is a major software upgrade with a number of new attractive features. If you wish to upgrade existing applications, you need to acquire a new license for each individual application instance. Neither Touch Player nor Touch Creator can collaborate with applications of previous versions.
Whether you wish to upgrade a previous version of Touch Creator and Touch Player, or carry out a fresh installation, a license is required for each instance of a ~sedna touch application. Please visit the Contact page on our ~sedna website to look up how you can get in touch with our sales team.
